Kingwood Township is back on the right track, let's keep the momentum going!

2022 has flown by, we are already in June, and the Township Committee this year has been busy at work ensuring that the residents of Kingwood are reminded why they chose to live here in the first place. Since January, the Committee collectively has:

1) Worked with County, State, and Federal entities to secure funding for infrastructure improvements and most recently, disaster mitigation tools.

2) Partnered with the Park and Recreation Committee and community leaders to bring back our beloved community day!

3) Passed a resolution calling on the DOT to rethink their Rockfall mitigation plan, which will only destroy hundreds of years of history along the Route 29 corridor.

4) Most proudly, the Township Committee was able to hold the line on taxes, and not raise the tax rate for 2022. That’s a 0% rate increase, something that has not been done in nearly a decade.

This is just to name a few of the huge steps forward the Kingwood Committee took this year, as we come out of the 2-year long COVID-19 Public Health Emergency,

I am beyond humbled to be a part of this team of professionals who constantly put quality of life, of the residents of Kingwood at the forefront of every decision we make.

I thank you for being a part of our wonderful community!

Sincerely,

Tom Ciacciarelli
